This series is inspired by a feeling of fascination with the sea and artistic work. The grandeur, the balance and the mysteries of the sea enchant me and make me feel good, providing moments of escape from reality. The same is true with the creative production process; the investigation of the materials, the possibility of creating relationships and the bodily and mental demands provide me with a meditative state of design that also work as a form of escape. At first, the use of the pen, ink and water strengthen, for me, the relationship with the sea, through the materials. However, I would argue that this relationship is somewhat subjective to the viewer, with the intention that each one creates their own relationships and interpretations.
